Halloween Extravaganza at Mark Twain Lake Jellystone Park™
Get ready for thrills, chills, and an unforgettable Halloween experience at Mark Twain Lake Jellystone Park™! Our Halloween festivities span three weekends, beginning September 27, 2024 and ending October 13, 2024. Each weekend is packed with fun and plenty of scares for campers of all ages. Here’s a sneak peek into what we have planned for this spooktacular event:
Arts, Crafts, and Activities
Kick off each Halloween weekend with a variety of arts, crafts, and activities designed to ignite your creativity and get you into the spooky spirit. Whether you’re making eerie decorations or crafting your own costume accessories, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Pumpkin Carving and Costume Contests
Show off your carving skills in our pumpkin carving contest and let your creativity shine! Then, don your best Halloween attire and join us at the Activity Center from 4:30-5:00 PM for our Costume Contest. Judges will be on the lookout for the most imaginative and spooky costumes, with prizes awarded to the top three winners:
- 1st place: $25 gift card to the store
- 2nd place: $20 gift card to the store
- 3rd place: $15 gift card to the store
Cabin and Campsite Decorating Contest
Our campers are known for their competitive decorating and love for a good time. Create your spookiest scene for a chance to win honors for the best-decorated site or cabin. Prizes for the top three decorations will be announced at the start of the costume contest at 4:30 PM. Winners will receive:
- 1st place: $25 gift card to the store
- 2nd place: $20 gift card to the store
- 3rd place: $15 gift card to the store
- Grand Prize: 1 free night on your next stay
Trick or Treating in the Park
Prepare your candy buckets and get ready to scream your way from site to site, collecting Halloween treats! With approximately 250-300 kids expected, there will be plenty of trick-or-treating action. Don’t forget to stop by the Ranger Station for a special treat!
Witches’ Brew and S’more Social
Warm up with a cup of witches’ brew and roast a s’more at site 63 before you venture into the haunted trail. Join the Jellystone witches for this cozy, yet spooky social gathering that’s perfect for preparing you for the thrills ahead.
Haunted Trail
Dare to brave our haunted trail for a spine-chilling adventure! All participants must sign a waiver and receive their trail ticket at the Witches’ Brew & S’more Social before entry. After getting your ticket, proceed to site 69 to begin your haunted journey. This terrifying trail is sure to be a highlight of your Halloween weekend.
